‘Meet the Dolphin’ is an exciting Animal Adventure program that allows you to have your very own encounter with a dolphin. You can get up close and personal in a truly unique experience where you will join Sea World’s dolphin trainer’s and enjoy an amazing interaction with these beautiful mammals while gaining an insight into their precious world. You’ll experience dolphin patting and a dolphin handshake in ankle deep water, as well as a special photo so that you can relive this once in a lifetime opportunity over and over again.

This program is only available for a limited period throughout the year. During these periods programs are available daily and have a maximum of 12 participants per program.

Meet the Dolphin is available for $99.99 (online only price) for children aged 4-13 and $159.99 for adults and includes a complimentary photo of your experience. All participants of this experience must hold a valid pass to enter the park.

Participation Criteria
  • Participants must be 4 years of age or over and a minimum height of 102cm. Participants aged between 4 and 5 years and between 102cm and 110cm must be accompanied by an 18+ guardian (one guardian per child). There are no complimentary programs for guardians. Unaccompanied participants must be aged 5 years or over and be a minimum height of 110cm.
  • Participants must be able to speak and/or understand English, or have a translator participate in the program with them. There are no complimentary programs for translators. Persons acting as a translator must advise staff at the start of the program. Translators must satisfy all criteria.
  • Participants will be required to step down onto a 60 centimetre underwater platform and will be required to wear appropriate clothing as they may get splashed.
  • Participants must have controlled motor movement.
  • Participants must follow directions quickly to the satisfaction of staff.
  • Participants must be able to quickly exit the pool area unassisted.
  • Guests are not permitted to wear any ARM/LEG jewellery including rings, anklets, bracelets, toe-rings, religious and cultural ornamentation unless it is unable to be removed then it has to be taped.
  • Guests with disabilities are asked to call Customer Connect on 13 33 86 directly to determine suitability to participate in the Animal Adventures programs. Please note a limited number of special needs programs are available for people with disabilities that otherwise prohibit them from participating.
  • Animal Adventure booking is non-refundable and non-transferable.



Did anyone get info on the length of time these interactions go for, the SWGC website doesn't state length? I guess the number of participants must be factored into it.
